A key moment came shortly before halftime. With the score tied at 7–7, Giants safety Jevon Holland intercepted Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott. New York turned the possession into a touchdown and took a 14–7 lead into the break, then scored again on its opening drive of the second half.

Dallas cut the deficit to eight points late in the fourth quarter, but the Giants kept possession for the final minutes to secure the win. New York finished with 394 total yards to Dallas’s 244 and held the ball for more than 36 minutes.
